romanos Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Is there any "tweak" guide for NF3 250Gb (754) btw?
OverByter Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Nope, this board was out before sata2 so it's a no go. I can still get 280's in hd tach so it's not really a prob. Guest electro Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Is the board (nF3250GB Ultra) compatible with SATA II drives at all?

Guest electro Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Does that mean it will only support SATA 150 tranfer rates on SATA II drives OR does that mean SATA II drives won't work, or cause problems? What I'm basically asking is if SATA II drives are backwards compatible with SATA I boards.

What I'm basically asking is if SATA II drives are backwards compatible with SATA I boards. Most SataII drives will work fine, I'm using a WD S2 which requires a jumper for that effect.
