twigert Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Just bought mine from ebay today and hopefully I'll get it in on tuesday(stepping in sig). Of course I can't OC it to the max since i only have a 400w codegen. I don't really think I would want to risk running my system on it since I had a 4 LED problem and had to get it RMA'd. Ima see if I can get my psu asap and post the results.

11dayz Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 11dayz i just received that same stepping I'll be interested to hear the results. Good luck WHat are your temps like? 25 Idle, 40 Load typically. It varies by a couple degrees as I micromanage my A/C to offset electric bill rate hikes  Load temps got up to 44 when I tried 1.65v just to see if I could get higher. At that voltage I could get into windows at 2.6 but superPi would error out.
Oceanborn Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 2.61ghz, 1.45v. 0551There are plenty of 165 results in the AMD Overclcoking Database as well All readings from software read about 0.03v below the actual voltage. Hey burky...I have the exact same revision as you...how are your temps?

Sniderhouse Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 2520 (280x9 @ 1.5v)Stepping CCBWE 0607UPGW I'm pretty dissappointed with mine. Haven't seen many people with the same stepping either, so I can't compare. Hey, 11dayz, I have the same stepping as you and I've only been able to get to to 2403 (267x9 @ 1.45v). It's prime stable now and I'm going to let it burn in a bit here and then I'll try pushing it up some more. Here's my settings; any input/comments are welcome. sumofatguy Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I have an opty 165 CCBBE 0610 running right now at 2.9ghz (322*9) and 1.45v. I've just in this screenshot its primmed for about 15min, but right now its over an hour. Pretty solid stepping. Heres a cpuz screen: http://www3.telus.net/sumofatguy/opty165.jpg ram is at 3.4.3.7 and 263mhz (2.7v) mushkin XP4000
twigert Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Wow. Nice job on the 0610 sumofatguy . I hope to get mine to at least 2.6 when I get a better power supply. For now ima probably have to remove a lot of the extra stuff in my system so my board has more power. Hopefully itll arrive here tomorrow since the guy shipped it today in the morning via Priority Mail.
Chronictank Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 CCBWE 0601 UPMW i seem to have a bad stepping as most people cant get over 2.6 with 24hr stability 2.5Ghz @ 1.450v - 24hr prime stable 2.61Ghz @ 1.55v this was pretty much the limit as i lost stability after this - 8 hr prime stable FSB: 278 LDT/FSB: 3x CPU/FSB: x9 CPU Vid: 1.450 CPU Vid Special Control: Auto DRAM Voltage: 2.80 Memory (Not optimised yet: DRAM Frequency: 166Mhz (5/06) CPC: Enable Tcl: 3 Trcd: 3 Tras: 8 Trp: 3 Trc: 7 Trfc: 15 Trrd: 2 Twr: 2 Twtr: 2 Trwt: 3 Tref: 3120 Twcl: 1 DRAM Back Inteleve: Enabled DQS Skew: Auto (Disabled) DQS Skew Value: 0 DRAM Drive Strength: Auto (Weak) DRAM Data Drive Strength: Auto Max Async Latency: 8 DRAM Responce Time: Normal Read Preamble Time: 6.5ns Idle Cycle Limit: 256 Dynamic Counter: Disable R/Q Queue Bypass: 16x Bypass Max: 7x 32 Byte Granlarity: Disable
richiec77 Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Chronic_tank your figures don't make sense - "1.5Ghz @ 1.45v and 1.6Ghz @ 1.55v" i'm guessing you mean 2.5 and 2.6? I have exactly the same stepping. 2.6 is pretty much as far as I can go really. I can get into windows @ 2.7 but prime fails after 2mins. I can get prime stable at 1.5v so for the money that's not too bad really - FX60 speeds for £250. You can't complain. WHat sort of temps you getting with the Sythe ninja? Wow I think this is the most popular thread I have started lol. Keep up the good work guys! anyone else got the 0601 stepping? Chronictank Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 lol sorry posted when it was late, was meant to be 2.5 and 2.6, amended above. Nice to see someone actually reading the stuff tho
