Opty 165 Overclocking database

Recommended Posts

Just bought mine from ebay today and hopefully I'll get it in on tuesday(stepping in sig). Of course I can't OC it to the max since i only have a 400w codegen. I don't really think I would want to risk running my system on it since I had a 4 LED problem and had to get it RMA'd. Ima see if I can get my psu asap and post the results.

11dayz i just received that same stepping :O

I'll be interested to hear the results. Good luck :)

WHat are your temps like?

25 Idle, 40 Load typically. It varies by a couple degrees as I micromanage my A/C to offset electric bill rate hikes  Load temps got up to 44 when I tried 1.65v just to see if I could get higher. At that voltage I could get into windows at 2.6 but superPi would error out.

2.61ghz, 1.45v. 0551

There are plenty of 165 results in the AMD Overclcoking Database as well

All readings from software read about 0.03v below the actual voltage.

Hey burky...I have the exact same revision as you...how are your temps?

I'm pretty dissappointed with mine. Haven't seen many people with the same stepping either, so I can't compare.

Hey, 11dayz,

I have the same stepping as you and I've only been able to get to to 2403 (267x9 @ 1.45v). It's prime stable now and I'm going to let it burn in a bit here and then I'll try pushing it up some more. Here's my settings; any input/comments are welcome.

Wow. Nice job on the 0610 sumofatguy :). I hope to get mine to at least 2.6 when I get a better power supply. For now ima probably have to remove a lot of the extra stuff in my system so my board has more power. Hopefully itll arrive here tomorrow since the guy shipped it today in the morning via Priority Mail.

CCBWE 0601 UPMW i seem to have a bad stepping as most people cant get over 2.6 with 24hr stability

2.5Ghz @ 1.450v - 24hr prime stable

2.61Ghz @ 1.55v this was pretty much the limit as i lost stability after this - 8 hr prime stable

Chronic_tank your figures don't make sense - "1.5Ghz @ 1.45v and 1.6Ghz @ 1.55v" i'm guessing you mean 2.5 and 2.6? I have exactly the same stepping. 2.6 is pretty much as far as I can go really. I can get into windows @ 2.7 but prime fails after 2mins. I can get prime stable at 1.5v so for the money that's not too bad really - FX60 speeds for £250. You can't complain. WHat sort of temps you getting with the Sythe ninja?

Wow I think this is the most popular thread I have started lol. Keep up the good work guys! anyone else got the 0601 stepping?
