Vaelen2001 Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 I used to use Rioport to rip mp3s from my newly bought cd's but they were shut down. Any ideas for what i can use now?

LobbDogg Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 Yup CDex is really really nice to use. Someone else already asked this question and got the same answer.
Psywar Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 cdex, and if ur using an mp3 player u can convert the mp3s to 96kbps and it sound just as good.. but like 3 times smaller.. so u can fit more in to theplayer
TypicalSloan Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 EAC (exact audio copy) is the best, Cdex is good but nowhere as good as EAC. As far as ease of setup and use, cdex is easier, but once you get EAC working the rewards are greater. check out www.hydrogenaudio.com, they're the audio experts. TypicalSloan Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 yah 128cbr mp3s arent that great, and anything less is poop. I used 192vbr on all my mp3's with lame 3.90.3. The file size might be bigger but i like the sound quality over quantity.
DevilMB3017 Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Sorry for taking a long time to post this... Vaelen - if you need the install file and codes for Rioport Audio Manager, I have it all. I found it just after they shut it down when cruising there FTP site, and of course, saved it. LMK.
