USB 2.0 support

Recommended Posts

Gotta love how they tell you these things after you've passed the point of having to reinstall the OS. hehe. That's gotta be a PITA. Glad I read that, else I probably would've installed them off the CD and be faced with this!

Well, those USB drivers off the CD-ROM is only for Win95/ME, what are you people thinking? I hope you got this issue fixed since it's a rather rear one i believe. I currently use WindowXP Sp1, and everything works just fine. :)

I successfully fixed mine by uninstalling all USB Controllers from the device manager, then running SP2. I had done a fresh install on my OS (XP Pro SP2 integrated) and put the CD for automatic installation of drivers which is what screwed mine up.

The short version in my case is that I did NOT have to reinstall the OS, just the service pack.
