SuperGraham Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 I live in the UK and my girlfriend is Czech. I think I'll make my avatar a picture of Jaromir Hagr, hopefully that'll annoy a few more small minded individuals.....

I'm not trying to be a smart butt, but to spare you some questions about avatars - and some other issues - it's a good idea to read the rules... http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21207 ... but you could make yourself a offensive sig! Skip04 Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 I remember the days when my neighbor would run a hose from his kitchen sink's faucet to his backyard. He threw a tarp down, and put some small boards around it to hold the edges up. Then pumped layers of water into it and let it freeze. BANG!!! Instant backyard hockey rink. OMG that was so fun. I think the most expensive thing about it was the goals they bought. We used to play out there every night. I definitely remember having to wear 2 pairs of socks. We were too ghetto to be able to afford pads and stuff so it wouldn't get too rough. We did have our share of injuries though. Ahhh the good old days... Ah, memories. My Dad used to do that for us too.
red930 Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 LOL I grew up in South Louisiana. My Dad would go buy 1,000 pounds of ice and run it through the chipper/shredder so we could have "snow". Those were the days.
