d3bruts1d Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 Ok... was talking to a friend the other day, and he mentioned that he purchased a new hard drive for a lady at the office... I don't recall the brand name, I'm wanting to say Maxtor.... but the part that got me was, when he said it was liquid filled.... what the heck? I've searched high, and I've searched low... I cannot find anything on liquid filled hard drives... liquid cooled, yes.... liquid filled, no. Anyone ever heard of this... This guy is one of the smartest people I've ever met (despite the fact he still uses all MS OSs), and he doen't make very many "mistakes" when stating hardware information... Anyone heard of Liquid Filled hard drievs? Sounds cool....
