In the DFI board are you using the orange slots?

To boot with 1 stick you must use the top orange slot.

ah, i didn't know that i was always using teh slot closer to the CPU and will try that after a few more hours of memtest in the intel rig...its been going on for about 5.5 hours and its been perfectly fine at 2-2-2 200mhz

she's working!!! woooooooooot! :nod: :nod: :nod:

tried out each individual slot in the top orange slot and she's fine

tried em both out in dual channel and it runs memtest smoooooooth at 2-2-2 and i'm abel to get into windows

if this lasts and allows my OC (running at stock right now) to run as it used to, it will be a great perm fix

in the mean time, anyone know a fairly well/new bios?
