Ok, the updates to the 06-04 bios are divided 50-50: some get successful flash while others get corrupted flash and can no more boot mobo..

 

===> result: I suggest to wait for the re-release by DFI..

Where did you draw that 50% conclusion from?

 

Yes Winflash progress bar takes a bit longer than previous BIOSes, but eventually it will finsh, NEVER terminate a FLASH in progress. There is nothing wrong with this BIOS

has anybody sended an e-mail to dfi engineers ?

cause i want to ask them that is dangerous to use that bios

maybe they can tell us that should flash back to 14/11 bios version

hey all, i have a problem when im flashing my bios

Im using DFI Lanparty UT Sli-d motherboard

When im going to flash it, it says:

 

Flash ROM is Write-Protected

 

Please make sure whether lockout jumper is set to correct or not

 

 

Can anyone help me plz...

Was the new bios withdrawn from the bios download section?

11 . Change NV RAID ROM to 5.50

12 . Change memtest86+ to 1.65

13 . Synchronize DRAM related code with Expert and Venus.

14. Remove Write CAS latency item and replace it by Odd Divisor Select.

15 . Add support for SST 49LF040B LPC flash ROM.

it seems that was a problem with dfi website

i've checked the site about 2 hours ago and the link wasn't there

but now i see that all at their place :)

You flashing with a floppy? Not a good idea to use WinFlash imho

Yes, dont use that if you have a floppy drive. Always use teh floppy!!:)
