undervolting

Recommended Posts

my board seems to have an issue with voltages. I set it to 1.35v in BIOS but in CPU-Z and SmartGuardian it reads 1.31v. it seems to get worse as I raise the voltage. if I set it to 1.525v in BIOS, I get 1.488v! I don't think it's my PSU (Antec SmartPower 500W) because my old Asus A8N-SLI Prem didn't have any issues with voltages. do I need to RMA the board?

There are hundreds of threads talking about this....Smart gardian is NOT calibrated properly with the bios...happens to everyone....there's always gonna be a difference...

my BIOS voltage is set to 1,425 and smart sees it as 1.39, go figure

I believe the stock voltage on this chip should be 1.35. I show 1.32 in Smart Guardian as well as cpu-z. I'm not worried too much about it since i'm getting 2.6 at the current setting.

I dont think that the problem is that it is actually being undervolted. The problem is with the sensors that read the voltage. The sure way to check is if you have a digital multimeter.
