Merc_Heidur Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 This is my first tiem ever runnign memtest, and i ntocied that once it gets to 100% it goes onto another pass, is there a set number of passes that it does or will it keep going till i stop it? CPDMF Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 It will keep running until you stop it. I run it for about 20 passes of test #5 and 20 of test #8 before I push on the memory some more. To finalise I will run the entire test for 2 to 3 hours. Usually your max memtest stable will be 5 - 8 mhz higher than prime stable for the memory.
