I know AS5 is Conductive, and im using it on a Laptop CPU/GPU so..yeah

then i heard the Ceramique is non conductive..but is STICKY! like glue, and yeah ill be upgrading GPU and CPU maybe within 6months of my new laptop.

OCZ stuff is like AS5 i think..idk

AC, i have this on my desktop..and idk it works? dont know much..

So yeah final question

"Which one is best used on NoteBooks, and can be easily taken off, incase of a part upgrade?"

thanks.

Any good paste is fine ...

For get burn in off past or any such thing,

So the bottumm line is safety to your electronics.

So Ceramique is the best for longevity and safety to components (shorting it out)

I've been using ceramique since I stopped using AS3. It's done its job and I've never had any problems with removing a HSK (I try to do it when it's still warm and give it a couple of twists before pulling up).

I'm sure that Ceramique does not to be re-applied and will last a very long time as supposed to AS5 which needs to be applied every 1-2 years for best performance.

I would say Cermaique would surely be better as you won't need to worry about re-application further down the line.

Ok, good Cermaquie it is then :P, how sticky is it though to the heat sink?

Sticky??? yes, Kinda like a bugger Ha Ha Ha, but it's not an adhesive, it wont hold a HS by it's self.

Sometime a suction effect can be had between a CPU & HS, removal is generally effortless.

Any time you R & R a HS er replace a cpu you need to Clean off the old & reapply new Thermal paste

I also prefer to use Artic Silver Ceramique:
