Muppet Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 yay!!! SVC.com finally started carrying these! Let's do them a favor (as I begged them pretty hard for this!), and get some of these fantastic, easy-to-install, NF4 and RDX200 chipset fan replacements Evercool VC-RE chipset replacement coolers @ $7.95! as always, please help support DFI-Street by using the link to SVC.com in my sig, or this one: http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?svcom...aFb+index.html+ Thanks! Do you know of any companies doing International shipping on these
AnotherJason Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 I am glad for everyone else, I definately would have ordered this if I had waited a week and not bought something else from a local store. SVC is where I get anything I dont get on newegg, so when I saw they didnt have it (back when I got the other) I just went with what I could. LOL gotta love "great timing" Way to go on getting them to carry it and good luck on the sales, from what I've seen and heard it is top of the line for a replacement for the chipset fan and no mod needed to boot. p0tter Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Evercool VC-RE works 10 times better than the stock DFI NF4 cooler in my opinion. I have a low/no db setup. I use smart guardian to lower the speed so that it is inaudible No issues with videocard clearance, I have one with my setup.
Angry_Games Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 well, while i was putting sw4y's rig together this afternoon (he's a Street member that happens to live in Boise so he's getting his rig custom-built and pre-overclocked etc etc heh...a benefit of living near me!), I replaced his SLI-DR's stock cooler with the Evercool VC-RE but the best part of it is that I made a tutorial video while doing it unfortunately I have to finish this rig up and then leave early tomorrow to go to Lewiston (about 8 hours away) for some stupid wedding...so I won't be able to edit the video footage and make the 'tutorial' that you guys are used to from me until Monday or so. But it will be another excellent DFI-Street Tutorial Video and I am sure it will help many many of you that are afraid to install it, or just not sure how to do it. It's so easy that its as short as the IHS removal technique heh...takes all of about 3-5 minutes and blammo it is instant 10-20C cooler on the chipset (and a lot less noise!)
