ap180 Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 I'm a Judge Judy fan myself...although Judge Wapner introduced me to the field of law it was Judge Judy who brought a respect and sense of esteem to the profession. A tough call indeed.
ClayMeow Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 I'm a Judge Judy fan myself...although Judge Wapner introduced me to the field of law it was Judge Judy who brought a respect and sense of esteem to the profession. A tough call indeed. I voted for being a techie nerd, although i'm not, i don't watch those stupid court shows...i have watched judge judy before, when it first came out, but no more. BTW. It should be noted that, as ap180's friend, i can give you the inside scoop....it just so happens that he recently won a Judge Wapner autograph on ebay for $7 or something. Now THAT'S a nerd! Ziggy54354 Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Judge judy is so biased i hate her. Shes a cranky b*tch. She always favors the people with the kids or cuddly animals.

bigred Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 are they really judges? I thought it was kinda like Jerry Springer with some attempt at keeping order... then again they did give the ref from the tyson vs holyfield fight his own show like that too for a little bit. Then again the only TV I really watch is some form of the discovery channel or SPORTS. I can't stand tech TV and thier "toys" they're always playing with on there. ap180 Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 They are actually real judges...some of them. Judge Judy was a family court judge in New York for many years before moving to Hollywood to sell her demeaning style. Her husband who was on the People's Court was also a real judge as is Wapner. I guess I should have added on the poll other options though...like the slew of copycats and non-real judges that paraded onto the screen after the success of Judge Judy. But whatever...go Judge Judy! :-)
bigred Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 okay, so I was halfway right. some are some aren't. wasn't sure that's why I asked. BTW judges TEND to side with kids and critters. I've asked my cousin about it many times (he's a judge). why do mothers ALWAYS win in child custody battles in michigan... cuz they're mothers. andrusk Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 I like judge mathis. Hes on at like 1:00 in the morning but hes funny as hell. He always laughs at the clients and makes fun of them. Pretty funny stuff.
