pc stats:asus a7n8x w/1006 bios m/b,amd 2800+ cpu w/333 fsb, ati radeon 9800 pro 128 ram v/card with latest ati driver,1 gb corsair twinx1024-3200LL(ddr 400mhz.) mem., soundblaster live value s/card and enlight 300 w/pwr.supply.

i am look for some help in geting the most out of my sys. when i change the setting in the bios for 200 fsb and set multiplyer for 10 or higher even with setting the cpu core voltage up my sys. is still unstable and crashes, not able to make full use of ram unless i can get 200mhz. fsb. any suggestions?my cpu temp. is approx. 60 deg.cel. w/o doing anything.

For starters, you must start in small increments. Maybe 5Mhz at a time max. I know its slow, but will work. Also, did you change yoru voltages any? if not, then you might not be supplying your ram enough "juice". I have my voltage set to the highest setting it can go. I think its either 2.8 or 1.8. I think 2.8. Also, you have to lock your AGP bus at 66Mhz or you might fry your video card. Next, try to up your multiplier also. Only the new 3200+ and I think 3000+ can handle 200FSB. Mine is a 2500+ Barton and can only do 199FSB. at 200FSB, it crashes. my stock multiplier is 11, i have it at 12, soon to try stuff with 12.5 so I can get more out of it with less FSB. But dude, you have to go slower on your FSB. You can't just go from 166 to 200 in one step. :smack:
