boomslangdfi Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Can anyone tell me if anyone has tried to run 4, 1 gig sticks of ram? Currently the motherboard I have would not operate correctly with the two sticks I had them in the Orange slots! So the moment I changed them to the Yellow the pc would boot and all that good stuff. red930 Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 So you had them in the orange slots before and had problems? Now that you changed them to the Yellow slots everything is working out great? Memtest86 8-10hrs stable with your overclock? You just won't be able to overclock the same as you are now with 4 sticks of memory in your system, that's all. Which settings did you have these sticks when they were in the orange slots? Still were giving them 2.7v with which timings? Did you try anything else to get your memory stable in the orange slots or just gave up and went into yellow? I hope this helps....
