Good over clocking memory for dfi ultra d

I need some help with choosing some good memory to overclock in a dfi ultra board. This is my first amd system in a very long time.

 

2gig kit. Price 200 + -

 

Can any one help?

The 2 gig kits are basically pretty equal in performance from one to another. OCZ has 3 employees that frequent this quite and do a very good job helping people out with their OCZ memory.. I personally run the G.Skill PC4000 HZ and am very happy with it. My second choice would have been the OCZ Gold PC4000

I got the 2Gb OCZ Performance Edition kit. It works well, although the timings aren't awesome (3-3-3-6). Definately on the cheaper side - i got the kit for $250 CDN.

The overall gains from using 2Gb of RAM make timings less important, since AMD64 and Opterons don't depend that much on timings to perform anymore. We're talking about minor penalties.

Grats, let us know how well the 3800 clocks fork you. I have no experience with the corsair, so someone else will have to offer you their suggestions.
