OCZTony Posted April 8, 2006 Oskar tweaked the last beta for me a little more, I then tweaked it to be friendly at boot as per the BTA bios files. All 3 in 1 zip. VE is venus EX is expert lastly is old skool NF4 with no letters. Added "odd divisor correct" option and removed Write Cas latency(set at 1 now) Added Vdimm on VE and EX over4V (for extreme clocking) Added chipset voltage 2V on VE and EX (for extreme clocking) Relaxed memory timings, set 2t at boot to make the board more boot friendly. bios may report 0Tras on reboot, optimised defaults should give 8 on the reboot. I have the venus loaded here, seems nice, let me know how it does for you. Remember 3rd part bios has no warranty, not from me, OCZ or DFI, use at your own risk Grab them here
Rideau Posted April 9, 2006 So far the new 406BTA Bios has given me a 5mhz increase, but still Prime testing right now.

oandrew Posted April 9, 2006 Tony, Does the new beta has the vcore bug that the 704 used to have? I saw that the new beta bios can choose over 113% for special VID.
Mord Posted April 9, 2006 Nice, very nice. It's only a few day to the 100GHz overclock contest here. And I've got two new bioses to play with. Sweet! Will post results, if there's an improvement.
SoyoJoe Posted April 9, 2006 Completely kills my once prime 12+ hour stable oc. Wont even run prime for ten minutes now with the same settings.
Budwise Posted April 9, 2006 is this based off the 3/29 bios or is this newer?
Pyr0 Posted April 9, 2006 is this based off the 3/29 bios or is this newer? Oskar tweaked the last beta for me a little more, I then tweaked it to be friendly at boot as per the BTA bios files. i believe it's a tweaked version of the 03/29 [edit] it seems Tony has fixed a couple of small errors that were in the modded BIOS for the standard nF4 Lanparty boards (sli-d etc.) here's the new updated one: http://tony.i4memory.com/DFI_%20bios_%20files/0406BTA.zip
OCZTony Posted April 9, 2006 I updated the main zip file also. guys remember if it aint broke don't go fixin it, if you are usin the 704BTA and its all good stay with it, its off the 316 and for me has the best rom table. The 406 is off the 329 and i have no idea on which version bios oskar based them on...i just know many wanted a tweaked version that was more boot friendly with the added dram tweak option to play with

Enz0 Posted April 9, 2006 Thank you, Tony. This BIOS seems good. What does "Odd divisor correct" do?
