3 LEDS on 4th Blinking. Anyone know what it means?

Recommended Posts

I've got the RDX200 and it was working fine until this morning. I've had it running for a month or so and started hearing problems with one of my HDD's. It sounded like it was beeping so I pulled it to test in another system. It did this once before last week and when I disconnected the power to the drive and re-connected it the noise stopped. I was planning on replacing the HDD but it seemed to be working.

Anyway I pulled it this morning and got it to boot. Then I restarted and now it wont POST. Three of the onboard led's stay on and the 4th starts blinking slowly after a few seconds. Anyone know what it could be? There are also no beeps comming from the board, and the speaker jumper is enabled.

Thanks.

Note: The standby LED stays on. Don't know if that helps at all but figured I'd mention it.

Luckily for me I found the issue. The power cord to my ATI x1800 is having issues. I removed the video card and swapped it with the 7800GT in my second computer and both of them booted fine. I put the x1800 back in here and pushed the power cord in hard and it booted. The odd thing is though that in my ECS board the ATI card would show an error on the screen if the external power connector was not on, but the DFI board wouldn't even post with it disconnected.

Anyway I just wanted to post the update incase anyone else comes across a problem like this.
