Tinyl Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 My rig as in the sig below. Just picked up this Venice 2 days ago, and I had some fun with vcore df. However, there is something weird with my BH5. As I know, blend test in Prime also stress ram, hence my Twinmos should not have any problem. But somehow I cannot run SuperPI, even at 1MB test. Every time I ran it, the computer hanged. I didn't have much time to run memtest, but after 30min there is no error found. Try to bump Vcore to 3.3, it's still the same. Don't ask me to rise the vdimm any higher, coz I'm running prime to burn the CPU at 2.61 with ram @ 240 2-2-2-5-1T 3.2V now. Anyone have any idea about this SuperPI thing? Tinyl Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I'm using orange slot, bios 623-3 is optimized for this slot isnt it? Maybe I will flash to 704-2bta to see how the thing will go.

Tinyl Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Ok I think I know why already. After flash the bios to 704-2bta, change ram to yellow slot, all the thing are the same. Still cannot run SuperPI, although Prime pass perfectly: Then I drop the bus to 270, change the divider to 180 (previous 166), everything seems to be fine, those ram are running at 243 with 3.4v. So I think my divider 166 have a BUG with SuperPI. My timing is: E-2-2-5-2-7-12-2-2-1-2-3120-A-E-A-0-Weak 4-A-A-N-A-256. Anyone had this problem before? Somehow it seems so weird for me.
