SeanDude05 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I am trying to setup RAID0 on the nVidia SATA with dual 36Gig Raptors. I have no problem setting it in bios, and I can load the drivers off of my floppy fine. Windows setup will load all files, it sees the array, and will format and load setup. However, once the red bar ticks to 15, and my PC restarts, it just begins the same setup process. Over and over and over... The GUI will not load up, it will just repeatedly load setup and reformat. I have CD-ROM set to first boot, I'm a little fuzzy on what to do here... any help or advice?
Zizzman Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Sounds like its not seeing your raid array as the first HD. You could try going back into the BIOS and set your nv raid device to boot first or at least before the cdrom. Hope this helps. SeanDude05 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 When I try to do that, it says it is missing system32hal.dll "Please re-install a copy of the above file." Thoughts?

RGone Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Windows installation process was corrupt. Probably memory settings or memory. RGone...
