Overclocker16 Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 It's better to lower multi and up FSB. What kind of RAM do you have?

FanATIc205 Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 (edited) amd cpus that use a multi of 12.5 or lower cant go above 12.5 same goes for the ones that use 13 and higher then you cant go lower than 13. theres a chart out there i forget where its at that shows you wich pins on the cpu to bind otgether to get the 13 multi or bridge the sockets ill try to find the chart ok found it http://www.ocinside.de/index_e.html?/html/..._resistors.html you can do this 2 ways either do it on the cpu or put some copper wire in the cpu socket Edited September 25, 2003 by fanATIc1205
Pres Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 I don't know how your motherboard is set up but in mine it will automatically o/c my ram for me depending on my adjustments for the cpu. I have a KT6 Delta FIS2R, Kingston PC2700 Ram. I set my fsb to 200 and the multiplier by 10.5 and my memory will adjust to 400mhz for me. It ran fine and was very stable. So I dunno if thats any help.
