Only $90 after rebate and it sounds like its a good buy. Any ideas or input would help a lot. Thanks

The Xi-fi is the latest greatest from Creative. Creative has pretty much been the standard since Soundblaster days...I strayed once and bought a Diamond MX300 sound card...good for a few months and then they stopped supporting it. Since they I tend to buy more mainstream....you'll have that soundcard for years hopefully. Creative is still supporting my Audigy 1 that is many years old (new driver release in Jan for all Audigies).

Looks like a good price ZipZoom has always been good for me...them and the Egg.

Though certainly not the Latest and Greatest, an Audigy SB0090 can be had on eBay for as low as $20 shipped (what I paid). It's a little old and does not support 7.1, but it does support 5.1. Great sound for the price.

That Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic you linked looks awfully sweet for the money.

I know everybody LOVESSSS creative but i got a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz(their old model) and i love it, it does everything that you need. Unless your a sound "guru" and need certain frequencies or whatever then i guess you can buy an X-FI.

Here's the link to the Turtle Beach section of Newegg:

Hope it helps you out.
