Skip04 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I also need a tutorial on RAM timings, etc. with the very basics. I want to learn, but that's something I've never messed with really too much. Try this: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20823 And also this: http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/show...ad.php?t=170999

CPDMF Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 What part of Phoenix are you in? If you are somewhat close to me I may be able to stop by and throw 2 gigs in your machine to see if it will do it. I had my G.Skill in my NF3 250GB and it would run it up to 270FSB 1T. Let me know in a PM and I'll see what I can do to help you out. Fum Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 You'll be able to run 2GB's just fine. Your memory controller will not have any problem whatsoever. Overclocking may, and I stress may be harder to achieve really high htt/fsb, but whatever you achieve, it will be a lot higher than you are now... which is default. Hi Fum,... so 2 x 1Gb should work fine in the s754 nF3 250GB mobo right  I'm planning to buy me some 2 x 1Gb OCZ EL memory for my rig. and I want to be sure that all will work fine. 10 x 250 with 2 x 1Gb @ 1T would be very very nice for me Probably one of the following OCZ-kits; http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memo...el_platinum_xtc http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memo...el_platinum_xtc http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memo...hannel_platinum Which should work best for me
