I use Corsair Value Select and it works OK, but I will be switching over to a high-end PC4000 2x1GB kit shortly.

If you read the build guide you will get an understanding of what to do. Be sure to load optimized defaults and run memtest before anything.

You wouldn't want a corrupted OS install.

Also, you may experience problems with such a low voltage PSU.

I get away with it because I only run one 7200RPM HDD and one dual-layer DVD burner.

First any value ram is not recommened for the NF4 boards. What size memory? You said your not up on all the settings correct.Befour you atempt to overclock read up on all the features that the bios offer.

Mushkin Enhanced Memory is not "value ram" really

the ICs are BE-5, which should mean nice tight timings under 230mhz or so, unlike my UCCCs :(
