GutBuster Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 www.reallyslick.com (OpenGL screen savers) His space screensaver owns windows As far as your error goes, is it with just that SS?

GutBuster Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Looks like it might just be a corrupted SS. If you want I can send you mine if you really want it. EDIT: Just got done looking at the screen shot you posted again, are you using a windows cd that came with a dell??
njswift10141980 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 yep I'm using the cd that came with it.
red930 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Replacing the files associated with the screensaver would be the start. The files are all the same between SP1, SP2 and OEM manufacturer's CDs so there shouldn't be any problem at all swapping files. njswift10141980 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 so all I should do is copy the file from the rig in my sig and put it on my laptop, hopefully it will work because I just tried repairing it but for some reason it didn't work. red930 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 The repair will not work due to the inclusion of cached files. Have someone send you the files you need to correct the errors you are experieincing. PM me if you want me to send the files necessary to resolve your issue.
red930 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 I just looked at the entire listing of screensavers on my machine (which has a fresh install of Windows XP Pro) and space.scr is not one of them. It is present in Windows 98. Was this laptop upgraded from Windows 98?
