Wrong reading!

Smart Guardiab is giving me 1.53v bios 1.56v, which one is correct?

but bios is a bit insistent don't you think? I set memory to 2.7v and it reads 2.77v and that's almost 2.8v...

 

There is a setting to add 0.03V to VDimm if below 3.2v. If this is checked it might give u that extra bit to make it nearly 2.8v.

After a little checking with DMM on my board, I found out the memory is running at 2.72 when set to 2.7, bios shows at 2.77 same as yours. The CPU gets the voltage I set in the bios, software reads it about .03 low.

 

I guess I have gotten used to innaccurate readings over the years and never rely on the bios or software. Maybe someday when technology improves we can get some accurate readings.:)
