use Marvel LAN as "repeater" ?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I am currently using the nf4 gigabit lan to connect to a switch,

and from there on to my aDSL modem.

Settings are->

10.0.0.11

255.255.255.0

and gateway 10.0.0.138

If I enable the Marvel gigabit too, what settings should I configure

in order to give internet (and local network) access to my ThinkPad

which will be connected on the Marvel LAN?

Should I bridge the 2 connections?

In Network Places rightclick the NIC that is connected to your ADSL bridge, select properties>sharing, enable it...

The other NIC will now get an IP of 192.168.0.1 and a small DHCP server will be enabled if I'm not mistaken, otherwise you will have to config the ThinkPad with an IP in the 192.168.0.X range...
