Rossyra Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 My rig isn't as stable as I'd like - I get random hard resets/reboots when running WoW The data on my ram on the Corsair site says the ram is tested at 2.75v, however the bios/SPD sets the voltage at 2.66 by default. Could this be my problem?
UncleDavid218 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Just the fact that you are using Corsair RAM may be your problem, but that said, try giving it a little more voltage.
Rossyra Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Can you recommend a better ram I could use?

Muppet Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I had the exact same problems with my Corsair, it just didn't like only 2.66 volts so i to bumped it up to 2.74 and has been stable as.For some reason Corsair memory likes a little more juice to run properly
red930 Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Can you recommend a better ram I could use? corsair isnt recommended due to its sucking with a dfi mobo. gskill is an excellent vendor--2gb of memory is 160, its a steal
DATGUY Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 mmm ive had this problem too.. it seem'd to be a problem with the v1.1 of the corsair memory... v1.2 has no problems at all
