HarryTaco Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Hi, Firing up my system for the first time. I hit the start button, hit the Del key at the right time and watched the bios come up. I looked over at my Hardware to see if everything was working and noticed the Fan on my Zalman 9500 wasnt working. I promptly shut down the system. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Im wondering if some adjustment in the bios will cure this. Like cool and quiet or the Fan monitoring parameters. Its a little cool and stormy here. Im wondering if I should try again and see if it starts when the cpu warms up a bit eh? What are your opinions?
red930 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 If the CPU is 24c or below, the fan will not spin-up until the CPU hits 25c.
