Critter Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Fan 4 and 5 are uncontrolleable via the bios or software. Fan 1 to 3 can be controlled in the bios under "PC Health". 3rd party programs to control fans are Smartguardian, Speedfan and O'm sure there are others that can be found searching these forums. Cheers.

dolphumous Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 This was the answer I was looking for. Thanks! I wish I could contorl fan4 and fan5. If you can't control them are they just 12V then? I have a front 120 and a rear 120 both the same fan...but the rear one seems to push more air. Wondering if they'll the same voltage. madu Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 If you are running additional fans it is a good practice to connect them directly to the psu, if there is a molex connector... Because these DFI boards need good clean power, it is wise not to load the mobo with additional fans..
dolphumous Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 If they aren't adjustable at all I may just do that. I did spend all day wiring everything up in the new case though. :
Shazarda Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 my fans are all connected to the psu, so the board has all the power it could ever want lol
