I have questions I really would like you guys to answer because you are the only thing that stands between me and NewEgg or whatever store I'm gonna buy from. So, If you feel that my choices aren't that good then please make your comment on any thing... I want your comments very badly. positively or negatively.. Lately, I have been paranoid.

1- CPU cooling

My choice here is Thermalright SI-120, and.... sorry for this but that is the only thing in this thread which is not negotiable. What is negotiable here is what FAN to get with that HS. Please give me your experience with fans installed in your SI-120 or XP-120. Beside that, I have seen PanaFlo Fans with similar specification but with different prices. For example, FBA12G12M1A model & FBA12G12M1BX model. I need to know their differences. I'm willing to take my CPU to its HIGHEST end.

I need the fan to be nearly quiet (I don't think a VERY ULTRA quiet fan is gonna be sufficient for high overclocking) and $$$ is not a problem here.

2- GPU cooling

Do you think that Arctic NV Silencer 5 Rev.3 is a good choice knowing that I may use the SLi in the near future and that I'm NOT going to overclock my (already overclocked from factory) GPU.

Just a subordinate question: is there any mod for GeForce 7800 GTX out there.

3- Chipset cooling

This is the big time question: simply what to get?

Yes I know about jab-tech.com's Evercool VC-RE & VC-RF but I can't get them for a reason I don't want to discuss, I looked into DFI board for an answer and I found Vantec IceBerq to be the most appropriate but I found that it come with versions: CCB-A1C & CCB-A1A & CCB-A4C & CCB-A4P and can I say IceBerq 5. With that, I want to know if any of them needs to be moded and I need you to know that moving the GPU to the lower slot is not an option. Your experience (stuff like before and after) is very much appreciated.

4- RAM

I'm a little confused here. there are 3 models of DDR500 2X1GB from OCZ. the one of choice is the EB edition (based on Infineon) which as I heard is not stable in 3D. So, I have here a very precise question: will this instability appear if I overclock CPU and leave the RAM to their native rated speed (which is 250). And another question, will I get a noticable benefit from their tight timings because otherwise I may think of the EL editions.

5- Is there something like a wear for PSU to make it quieter. I think I have seen it some were.

6- And last but least, can you give my some shops with good both in service and quality

And sorry guys about making this thread like an endless one.

I'm one of those people who says there really isn't a difference. I'm a a huge fan of Panaflo, but get a fan that has a balance between the amount of air that it pushes and the amount of noise that it makes that you can live with.

If you plan to go SLI, then after market cooling is probably going to be tough with the original SLI-DR board. Although with one card that Nv Silencer is a great choice.

1) CPU cooling....the panaflo is the best way to go, and the MBX is probably all you will ever need. It is not super quiet but hook it up to a fan controller and it works great.

2) GPU cooling....do not buy an arctic cooling sielencer and ever expect to run SLI on your board....you will need an EXPERT on one siilarly equipped with the extra space between the SLI cards. Stick with the stock cooling and keep your warranty is the way I feel.

3) Unless your chipset is routinely going into the 60's I would just leave it alone.

4) The timings will not give you a real world noticeable benefit....unless you are a benchmark junkie, but in terms of real world feel you wont notice it. Newegg has a great deal on a G.skill set right now pc4000 (same as in my sig) for like $160. Uses the same chips as the OCZ non-EB stuff (Samsung UCCC). Lots of people have been able to take it upwards of 280htt.

5) No idea

6) I buy all my hardware from newegg and monarch, and all of my fans and misc crap from svc.com.

We need to know specifically your location so we can recommend stores to you!!!
