heads_up Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hi, When i OC pass 315htt (or fsb as some call it) my comp wont boot into windows. After the "Back up CMOS...ok" check i get the message "Failure to load disk drive" which im guessing is my HDD (which is a 200GB S-ata seagate and is in s-ata port 4 using the NF4 not silcon image.) So any ideas on how to fix? thx -heads p.s my max oc i can get into windows stablely is 312Htt click me for pic
Chaos_2k Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Check if S-AtA Spread Spectrum is disabled in BIOS What are your Chipset Temps? I guess your chipset isnt able to take anymore OC, maybe try to raise the LDT Voltage, up to 1,7V i guess its safe.
heads_up Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Chipset temp is 47C, its voltage is only 1.5v and LDT voltage is stock, i have no real idea, but ill check later. Also, this board has been pushed to 400x5 on a RAID set up before and it ran fine for over 3 weeks....
scottyv Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 i would put LDT on 1.4V just to see if it helps and Chipset on 1.7 to see if it breaks the barier
