I didn't know you could get Ballistix to DDR600 speeds reliably... I've seen a very few with prime samples. Not too many users of Ballistix these days, so don't be disappointed if no one has those settings for you.

Do check your CPU to ensure it'll run at that speed before trying to get your memory there. Then see if your memory can run at that speed...

Good luck!

Just curious, whats your max speed so far on those Ballistix? If you aren't already at 290 I seriously doubt any settings people give you will help anything.

Keep in mind those settings aren't going to get you to 3.0Ghz either.

Might just want to be happy with what you have. :)

just wanted to try ^^. I was looking for a starting point.

I haven't even got the out of there box lol. My last 2 pairs died on arival, could not get them working at all. Was looking for an easy way out as I remember the hard work I put into the dead ones. These I have now are probably dead aswell :(.

I would love to have this setup:

3GHz 1:1 300fsb opty 170

7800GTX 600/1600 vmoded (its @ 550/1350 so far. just working on the core atm 1.528v)

Well, I got my Ballisitx (2x1Gig) to 300Mhz with my Opty 165......but then they blew up and had to be RMA's within 60 days.

They ran great, before they fried, so now I just run then with a memory divider @ 245Mhz. I believe Angry_Games did some benchmarks, and you don't lose much at all with a divider (vs CPU Mhz). I don't care to lose these as they don't make the Ballistix 2Gig kits anymore.
