1gb Rimm ? Or 1gb Pc4000 ?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am building my own computer and I have everything except the RAM. I am looking to get either Geil PC4000 for around $300. But I recently found this,

1 GB RIMM PC800 ECC RDRAM MEMORY (2x512) for $290. Which one is faster ? I have a ASUS p4c800-e deluxe motherboard. Thanks guys! I appreciated it. Have a great weekend.

I am not sure, but I think it supports like PC3200. Since you guys says DDR is better, I'll go with it, but I want to get someting that I can overclock. Like PC4000, and if I get it, what will my FSB be ? Thanks!! :-)

Rd ram wont work in a comp that supports ddr. They only support one or the other first off and second off my dad has 1066 rdram and it does squat as far as games go. I know i tested my comp with his gfx card (9700 pro) and it beat out his system.
