Mem Dividers and CPU Voltage

Recommended Posts

Are the two related? I can oc my rig with 1.43 volts to 2.7 but I run on a lower divider than I'd like. Would boosting voltage to the cpu possibly make the ram run at a higher divider? And whats the max voltage you want to run through a 3800x2 anyway?

You would wanna keep the cpu voltage around 1.5 to be extremely safe. Some would say going to 1.6v is also safe as long as you have a good hsf and you watch your temps.. I would not think there is a direct correlation between memory divider and cpu voltage, although it is not impossible..

Whats your vdimm? I think you should probly increase your vdimm to go on a higher divider..

CPU is 1.43

LDT Bus 1.16

ATX +5.0V is 5.02

DRAM is 2.92

ATX+12V is 11.83-11.9 (Is this weird?)

NB+1.5v is 1.48 (again seems off)

ATX +3.3V is 3.23 (also seems off)

VBAT +3.0V is 3.05
