WOW, you sure are going all out! All you have listed is fine. You could look at the Opterons, they are real hot right now and overclock past the 57 speeds. Get the Powerstream 600 if you have that much to spend, that way if you ever double up(SLI) on that XFX, you will for sure have plenty of power and G. Skill has very good memory. Man, have fun building your system, I sure would!

yea, only thing is i got 2 months to wait but whatever its gunna be a sick system.

and isnt SLI only really good for benchmarking and all that, like only gives you a couple extra FPS. I really havent looked into SLI much but I mean it could be useful in the future :)

no slis good for gaming.. a 7900gt will suck compared to the rest of the vid cards (anandtech) but once put in sli it skyrockets past the levels of an x1900xt... once you sli even the lowend 7900 card, u get great performance...

I would advise against the OCZ Powerstream 520 or 600...I have heard and seen and am experiencing issues with my PSU not booting properly. Cold boots are a really big problem with the OCZ power supplies and the Expert boards. If you dont buy it just search the issue of Cold boots and the EXPERT mobo. Its a problem and known by OCZ and DFI. I would go with a PC Power and Cooling ASL a little louder but garuntees ZERO troubles. Also RAM try MUSHKIN...just a thought new XP series runs DDR5300 (667mhz) check out there web site.

Also the 7900 GTX does not and is not going to suck to the best of my knowledge....its also only $30 more than a 7800GTX in some cases I think that would be a good choice for gfx

Are you getting 7900GTX SLi x2??

IMO SLi is pointless, a single card will come outer giving better performance and be cheaper then getting 2 cards, it always happens, in most cases that is the facts. really nice choice of parts tho!! but if i was you i would save money and get non-SLi, and spend the money else were, or save the money :) your choice, just giving my opinion.

Sumarry of the . i said:

If your getting a SLi Mobo, get the 2 cards at the one time, becuase if you dont before you get around to it, a single card will be out cheaper, and better.

In most cases i havent seen SLi makes a HUGE dfference that is worth the money.

Looks good, I like the Silverstone 600w PSU due to the cables, they now sell a short cable set at the egg to go with it. I would also go Opteron 185 or FX60. I tried SLI and it was a pain and really heated things up in my case. They both covered up my chipset fan on the expert. The next VPU I buy will be single slot. OCZ has some 4800 so does Patriot. My gSkill wont run 300fsb at CAS2.5 but will at 3.

a single card will give better performance than 2 cards always? yeah rite. no kidding costs will be higher, but there IS a performance benefit, comeon man.

depends on what cards ur putting in sli, dont say stuff that isnt true.

and how do u kno that a single card will be cheaper and better? if ur sli two 300 dollar cards and pick up a single 300 card, the cost is the same for one card... duh.

for example, one x1900xt and 2 7900gts. yes the 2 7900gts is more ( i think ) but it smokes a single x1900 by a lot. performance benefit is good.

2 cards> 1 if ur buying good cards. duh.

unless hes an ati fanboy, dont listen to what he sez.
