Ah good-by my DFI freinds

Recommended Posts

Well I caved, I was ordering a replacement DFI (Expert) which I saw on sale today and when I made up my mind and processed the order, the sale had ended and it was back to $230.00 :(

So I ordered an Asus ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe as a replacement.

I liked the whole DFI concept but I have little to no time to fight it out with my hardware atm.

So I will end this by saying thank you to the staff who put up this great forum and thanks to those who helped me along while trying to troubleshoot my system.

So long and Good luck! :P

havent you got an ultra-d? doesnt that mean your still gonna visit, at least for a chat.

Ah well, its my Ultra-D that I am replacing, I was going to get an Expert instead but the sale price ended and so I leaned towards ASUS. For the record its the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe and not the A8N-SLI that I replaced it with (typo).

I know its not as fast as the DFI but at this point I was scraping for stability.

esstee maybe all your problems were to blame on the psu /..

but anyways enjoy the asus

You know that could very well be the case, and I will test that out before I send the DFI back. If this is what was causing the problem I will post a detailed description of the problems I faced for other to learn from. Hopefully it will help someone along the way.
