crassvs Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Heh not really but appearing to a SmartGuardian screen it is. Can you say whats happening with the heat sensors in my motherboard?
red930 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Damn bro! Have you tried running MBM to see if it says the same thing? Software, what is software? Never trust software....i've seen all sorts of incorrect reading from that utility you are using there. Not sure if the sensors on your board are acting up or it's just that particular software. So that's why i wanted you to try SpeedFan or MBM to see what readings you get as well. Thanks...
crassvs Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Heres what SpeedFan says: Same thing but this time my computer is in an ice box.
Hawk454 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Heh, I had my smartguardian software do that after I installed Motherboard monitor before I got the sensors setup corretly. Mine would all read 78` Celsius at idle.
johneverd Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 What temps does it show in the BIOS?
THunDA Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 What does it say in bios ? edit johneverd beat me to it.. If they are off in bios also then I would try to reflash the bios.. If that doesnt help then the board needs to be rma'd most likely..
red930 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Yeah, if your temps are messed up in the bios, talk to Angry about RMA that board dude....
_xhp_ Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Try clearing the CMOS - the problem should go away. If it doesn't then reflash. And never use two monitoring programs at the same time.
crassvs Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 OK so I did a reboot and looked into the BIOS, there it said all three temps were at -128°. I was like wtf and switched the PSU off, so that the computer was disconnected from the power line. I booted it up and now everything is back to normal, the BIOS reads the correct temps and the programs do so too. Strange behavior but it seems that its fixed now. Thanks for all your replies! vrodforums Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I had a similar issue with a neo 550 PSU just before it went bad. It would from time to time spike the cpu voltage and the temp readings. Just a thought.

ReelFiles Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Bad PSU, may be worth checking out, be a shame something got fried after you got a warning.
