Hi DFI Guys

I just orded the new Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO

I need some help with timings for these memmory on a DFI SLI-D mobo running on 704-2BTA Bios with a 4800+ Toledo X2 @ 2 x 2.85 GHz CPU

What i do know is this, and help me fill out the blancks...

DRAM Frequency (Mhz)= 200

Command per clock (CPC)= Enable

CAS Latency control (TCL) =3

RAS# TO CAS# delay (TRCD)= 4

MinRAS# active time (TRAS)= 7

Row precharge time (TRP)= 3

Row cycle time (TRC)=

Row refresh cycle time (TRFC)=

Row to row delay (TRRD)=

Write recovery time (TWR)=

Write to read delay (TWTR)=

Read to write delay (TRWT)=

Refresh period (TREF)=

DRAM bank enterleave=

DQS skew control=

DQS skew value=

DRAM drive strength=

DRAM data drive strength=

Max async latency=

DRAM responce time=

Read preamble time=

Idlecycle limit=

Dynamic counter=

R/W Queue bypass=

Bypass max=

32 byte granalarity=

I found this, sounded promissing...

If you try other users settings, it might work or it might not. I've tried out of 15 people before for two different memory KITS and only two were successful, thank god! Try going into the Stock Database and see if they have your modules or not. Also check out our OC Database to see what's there for you as well.

Note: This was givin to me by TeamXRSX...

"Start at 250mhz 1:1 200divider. Use the timings i have but use 3.4.4.8, start clockgen and run prime. Up the FSB 250, 251, 252....ect until you get an error in prime(large FFT's). Note the max mhz before you got an error, subtract 5mhz from that number this will be important later. Go into BIOS and enable memtest. Start with test #8 and see if ytou get errors, at the max fsb minus 5mhz(if your max was 280mhz, this would be 275). The lower half of the timings is the most sensitive of the timings. You will start to see errors in test 8......note how many errors took place, Go into BIOS again...and start making changes, one by one....starting at the bottom. Note the changes you made. Go back into memtest and run test 8 again, not the number of errors. You keep doing this in test 8 until you get down to zero errors, then go to test # 5, you may get a few errors in test five. use the notes you took on what effected the errors in test 8 and make the appropriate changes so that you can pass at least 5 passes of test 5. If you can't get all the errors out of these tests, you may have to back down FSB 1-2 more mhz...then keep going. Once you have all the errors down to 0 both test 5 and 8, then you can try to tighten your main timings up, first try 3.4.4.7.....then 3.4.3.8.......3.4.3.7...3.3.3.8....ect. Get them the lowest you can at that FSB......you may not be able to run anything less than 3.4.4.8....but thats OK...."

I found these settings for a DFI LANParty-UT nF4 Ultra-D on 704-2bta bios

http://www.svethardware.cz/photo_doc-E772C...DE006387CE.html

from this site

http://www.svethardware.cz/art_doc-C079745...DE00604563.html

Will these settings work with DFI Lanparty SLI-D mobo?

This program A64 Tweaker doesn't give me TREF in digits, or DRAM bank interleave, DRAM date drive strength, DRAM response time.

Could some one be of assistence?

Thanks

If not, are there plans to test these soon?

Thanks!

  • 4 weeks later...

This is what I ended up with...

DRAM Frequency (Mhz)= 180

Command per clock (CPC)= Enabled

CAS Latency control (TCL) = 3.0

RAS# TO CAS# delay (TRCD)= 03

MinRAS# active time (TRAS)= 08

Row precharge time (TRP)= 02

Row cycle time (TRC)= 15

Row refresh cycle time (TRFC)= 17

Row to row delay (TRRD)= 2

Write recovery time (TWR)= 3

Write to read delay (TWTR)= 1

Read to write delay (TRWT)= 3

Refresh period (TREF)= 2560

DRAM bank enterleave= Enabled

DQS skew control= Auto

DQS skew value= 0

DRAM drive strength= Auto

DRAM data drive strength= Auto

Max async latency= 08.0 ns

DRAM responce time= Normal

Read preamble time= 06.0 ns

Idlecycle limit= 016

Dynamic counter= Auto

R/W Queue bypass= 16x

Bypass max= 4x

32 byte granalarity= Disabled

290 X 10 divider 9/10 = DDR527 @ better than stock timings, but a underclock of 4%

yes they works, but if i could change anything. It would be to have bought OCZ instead. It has not been easy to get them going. They look flashy and preform ok, but i would rather have some better timings support.
