SWiTCH07 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I bought mine alongside a 3500 winnie. Ran straight off. Should only need to update BIOS (if its needs updated or can be that is) if your experiencing problems etc.
KimTjik Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Probably not. That would only be necessary if you got some mobo which was manufactured a long long time ago. Nevertheless it's pretty easy to check. In BIOS you simply disable the "logo-screen"; after save&exit your system will repost and then you will see in the left down corner which BIOS you have. I think you'll see "2005/06/23" which mean you're good to go. Welcome!
Riscalad Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 So the 3700+ would work fine with the DFI-SLI-DR as a new build right out of the new boxes? As im new to the DFI series should there be any problems i should be aware of as ive moved from gigabyte, asus with no problems? Also what brand of memory should i use i know what type PC3200 400MHz?
