Yes I did face this problem 8mo. ago. IF you want a Mobo that can run any type of hardware you put in it, then get a Asus. If you want to overclock your system with quality parts, then get a DFI. Don't be confused between the two boards, because there is a big differance. IMO DFI is a far superior Board, but you can't slap some value ram and a piece of junk PSU in and are shocked it won't run. It dosen't matter what I recommend. What matters is what you want out of your computer? good day. ;)

although im feeling a bit regretful on my smartpower 500watter. sli became a reality about a month after i bought the friggin thing... now im on the expert bandwagon so ill be up and running sli soon.. but i have an issue

smartpowers arent for sli;... but they included 2 pci-e connectors... wtf? 500w isnt adequate for sli system, but they include 2 pci-e connectors?

anyways, i dont consider ballistix to be value ram :D.. and even though im only 14 im a seasoned ocer so dont take me for an idiot... been into computers since 11. asus has good bios features but is nowhere near dfi..

so is it down to brand prefereence? more advice plz :D
