herbeapuce Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Hi. In order to OC (an opteron 165) is there a rule of thumb regarding the FSU buss Frequency and the DDR frequency? Thank you - one more question; how do you capture and save a Bios screen? Stef
Burky Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I don't think so. Just use a divider to keep your ram at a sensible amount. Usually for a 165 you will need to use 9/10 or 5/6. You need killa sticks to manage 1:1 wsith an opteron 165.
PL4YD34D Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 not really, just follow the guide and read the dual core opty thread on here. an overclock is as random as springtime. you know the end result is lots of bunnys but the bits in between are too many to contemplate. lol
