SATA Raid?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get SATA Raid running on my system. On the ATI Sata Ports the F4 SIL program lets me create an array. When I get to windows I press F6 and nothing happens.

If I move the connectors to the SIL ports I cant even use the F4 program, It just says that I have no availble drives.

Any help is appreciated on setting up raid. I find the Instructions poorly wriiten. The place to set up the Raid in the bios is not where the book says it is.

just to double check:

Did you set the "Onboard SATA Type" Option to RAID? If not, then you havent enabled the ATI RAID controller yet. So you could possibly be in the F4 RAID program for the Silicon controller, which could explain why you dont see any HDDs.
