PL4YD34D Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 when you install the MS .NET framework it automatically creates an account for ASP.NET and gives it limited functionality etc. now i dont really care why it does this but would like to know if it can be deleted manually and its influence removed. since it was created it now forces a welcome screen at bootup and im assuming it must use some resources. so can it go or will that limit the functions of the .net framework? i know one of you software gurus must know this...hehe Paul Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
red930 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 The ASP.net account is needed only if you are doing ASP.net development on that machine.
