bighairycamel Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Thanks for all the help. I finally got it to take yesterday. It was my memory settings, the DRAM data drive strength was the main culprit. Setting it at Level1 instead of the recommended level3 did the trick. I also had to increase my async latency to 8 nS and my Read Preamble time to 6 nS. And believe it or not, I had to LOWER my RAM voltage from 2.6 (factory set) to 2.5. Also my RAM absolutely refused to go above ~204MHz (which is OK because keeping them at 200MHz allowed me to keep my tight timings of 2-3-2-5-T1), so my inital overclock was tricky, but after I figured out the problem and set the RAM dividers it was all good. Now I am running at 2.6GHz all breaking 40 degrees C under load. [/celebrating] Thanks again.
