Corsair value 2gb kit compatibility?

In view of your system, is there any special reason why you want value memory? Especially of you're looking for a 2gb kit I would prefer to be patient and save some money for a quality kit of memory.

do a search on the actual model of memory (version as well if you know what it will be) and see if anyone posted information regarding this memory.

I found the ULTRA-D I used to have a bit of a challenge to fine tune but my Expert board was very smooth.

Some users report problems with Corsair (not overclocking well etc), the newer bioses seem to improve this a little. You may want to look into OCZ chips as users seem to be very happy with their performance.

Also check out Corsair's support site:

http://www.houseofhelp.com

and search on your proposed MB and Ram combination.

And as stated by others beware of "value" memory. You don't need to buy the top of the line range but for a couple bucks more your flexibility in overclocking or tightening of timings will increase (stability > $)

Oh guys its not for me, someone just wants cheap mem and will put it on a divider...

Corsair Value is like the cheapest out there (by a fair margin) and the shops he's using primarily stock corsair and all other 2gb kits at reasonable prices are out of stock.
