4 Red LEDs Flash

Recommended Posts

yeah a lot of peace of mind , the alternate powersupply - i dont trust it its not up to par.....but the system went down to ONE(1) LED which meant the CPU, the RAM and the VIDEO CARD were fine, so i was happy, i cant believe that happened tho....how does enermax miss a whole pin connector....im getting RMA number tomorrow, will post any developments....and hopefully pics of it all up and running

thanks to all.....im very glad the uber DFI board wasnt the cause of the problem

my thoughts are ; did using the other PSU get the board working? and, try finding pinouts for YOUR PSU from manufacturers site

I have excactly the same problem. Bought the Enermax Liberty wednesday and connected it. Same problems as you. Fans start turning for 1 sec, 4 red leds go on for a sec.

Disconnected everything and connected only 24-pin and 4-pin 12v. Same problem.

Took my old psu. Connected 24-pin and 4-pin 12v. Powers up, no problems. So it is mos def the PSU.

Posted at a dutch forum and a mod told me more people had this problem here.

Still searching for a solution, because he told me this Enermax might never work on DFI.

more likely to be MB. if CPU was fried, MB would fire up and give POST errors.

actualyl

i had a broken cpu adn the mb wouldn not turn on at all

as soon as i took it out it worked, albeit without a cpu
