Muppet Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 loading windows on it right now Hopfully you have the same crashes that we did, i know that sound mean. But at least then you can try to resolve the issue and try out the earlier bios. Thanks again for your support, you are a champion
Angry_Games Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 I'm also experimenting for WoL-Shiver about replacing the Karjan ALC850 audio module with the RDX200's High-Def ALC882 module
Angry_Games Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 ok just so i got this all straight the problem is not with the 3d benchmarks for the OC Database etc right? it is with real 3d games like BF2, FEAR, Quake4, CoD2, etc?
red930 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 That is correct.
Angry_Games Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 ok i got to find a chair high enough to sit at the bench to play a damn game then =( what should I play? BF2? Is that the most popular game amongst everyone at the moment?
red930 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 BF2 or CoD2 should do the trick with the 12/07 BIOS. But, the difference I see is the fact you have 2 6600GTs which, if I remember correctly, do not have the auxillery power connectors on them. Muppet Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I think i remember someone was running a 6600 SLI setup who also was experiancing the lockups and out of range signals
red930 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Yeah, your right. System #4 is running 2 XFX 6600GTs. I think i remember someone was running a 6600 SLI setup who also was experiancing the lockups and out of range signals
Angry_Games Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 unless someone has an XFX 7800GT or engineering sample 6800GT heh, then the 6600GT's are the only SLI cards I have I'll throw down some CoD2 and possibly some BF2 over the weekend and see whats up
