SLI-DR Expert with SLI causes Game Crashes

Recommended Posts

I received a replacement NF4 Expert board today finally and will begin setting it up with the following:

DFI NF4 Expert SLI-DR (12/07/2005 BIOS) (6.70 Nforce drivers)

AMD Opteron 146 (2Ghz)

2x1024MB OCZ PC4000EB

2x Chaintech 6600GT SLI (81.98 drivers)

Asus 52x CD-ROM

Maxtor 160GB IDE hdd

OCZ Powerstream 520w psu

Thermalright XP-90 or SLK-948U heatsink

I'll take a look and see what's up with it, and get back to ya (bump the thread every 8-12 hours if you don't see me reply...I've got hockey tonight and tomorrow and hockey 101 clinic on Sunday so I'm gonna be gone quite a bit)

thanx for the help

loading windows on it right now

Hopfully you have the same crashes that we did, i know that sound mean. But at least then you can try to resolve the issue and try out the earlier bios.

Thanks again for your support, you are a champion :)

BF2 or CoD2 should do the trick with the 12/07 BIOS.

But, the difference I see is the fact you have 2 6600GTs which, if I remember correctly, do not have the auxillery power connectors on them.
