dual core users use the drivers?

Do u people with dual cores actually use the dual core drivers that alot of people are talking about..?

i dont use them .but i tried the driver out and my p95 was no longer stable...

whats your guys opinion on the drivers?

I use the X2 Drivers but I'm not sure if it is benefitting anything. My system works perfectly so I'm not going to change it by not using them.

I do not use them and see no reason to change. I got as high as 300 x 9 Prime stable before dialing back due to noise and heat concerns.

 

It looks like you can install em or not install em, and do just fine either way. Then again, based on your sig you are already doing fine, so why change?

I use the dual core drivers and haven't had a problem with them. Just checked the AMD website and it says that is it is specifically for the AMD64 X2 Dual Cores. The patch doesn't list support for dual core Opterons and there is no Dual Core patch listed on the Opteron Download page. Perhaps it isn't intended for use with Opterons? I really don't know one way or the other but try swinging by the unofficial Opteron thread to see if they can help you out there:
