OneArmed Badger Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 NVIDIA posted the following on their forums on 13 Feb: Hi folks, I'm the PR Manager for the nForce MCP business group here at NVIDIA. I was under the impression that our latest driver builds on nvidia.com (6.70 for the original nForce4 SLI dual X8 and 6.85 for SLI X16) fixed the issue that some of you were experiencing with the ActiveArmor acceleration feature. I've forwarded the information to our software labs, but they are unable to reproduce. For those of you who are in the US, we would like to schedule a direct communication with each of you to try and resolve your situation. So, if you are having problems with the 6.70 driver package, please email me directly at [email protected] with your full contact information, system specs and configuration and driver and BIOS information. We can hopefully resolve this over the phone or if not, we are willing to fly our software guys to your location to take a look at your system in the environment you are using it. Please let me know... we are serious about getting to the bottom of this. Thanks in advance. Bryan Del Rizzo Senior PR Manager, MCP Business Group NVIDIA Corporation The link is http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=2137&st=260 I'm not 100% convinced that this is genuine, but it has been on nvidia's own forums for a week now. If you're getting corruption from activearmor and live in the US then why not give it a go.
